Kiwi florin coin - Kids Youth T shirt
Growing up the New Zealand one Florin coin was so familiar, it is also a fine looking pattern that is quite wonderful and well worth celebrating with this very nice looking placement print on the front of colourful t-shirts. A Florin was worth 1/5 of a pound, so when New Zealand converted to decimal currency in 1967 the Florins in circulation were worth 20 cents, today they are quite rare, collectors value them at NZD$9! Back in the early 70s I recall that 20 cents left for the milkman on five empty pint milk bottles at the gate would buy 3 litres/5 pints of fresh milk delivered to our letterbox. In 2021 3 litres of milk costs about $6 from the supermarket.
